Dr. M. Hazem Raslan

Dr. Raslan graduated from the Damascus University School of Medicine in 1988. He completed residency in Internal Medicine at St. Joseph Hospital – Oakland. During his senior year of residency he was involved in bench research at the University of Michigan, and received multiple awards in research. Subsequently, he was accepted into the Pulmonary Medicine Fellowship program in Sinai Hospital, Detroit. In the final year of this fellowship, he elected to rotate in the sleep disorder program at the University of Michigan, where he gained further experience in this field. He started his private practice in 1997 at Oakwood Annapolis Hospital. He has held several leadership positions among the medical staff at Annapolis. Dr. Raslan is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Sleep Medicine.

Debbie Vogel, Nurse Practitioner

Debbie has over 25 years of experience as a registered nurse, many of these in critical care and emergency nursing. She has received both a BSN and Master of Science in Nursing degree from University of Detroit Mercy, and is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Debbie has received specialized training in pulmonary and sleep medicine, and maintains affiliate staff privileges at Oakwood Annapolis Hospital and Oakwood Hospital and Medical Center-Dearborn.

Alice Brown, RPSGT, Sleep Lab Coordinator

Alice earned a BA in both English and Political Science from the University of Michigan – Dearborn in 1989. She enjoys the field of sleep medicine and has been working in the field for over 7 years. Alice earned the RPSGT credential from the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) in July 2008. She has trained novice technicians entering the field and has also assisted in the accreditation of sleep centers.
